A series of modern frescoes (2007) painted on houses in the town of Taceno that endeavour to preserve traditions, legends and history of craftsmanship and commercial work. Unlike their counterparts in Parlasco that recount the legend of Lasco the Bandit, the Taceno Frescos are described as a window into the past focussing on a particular task associated with the area. In so doing, it is hoped future generations will remember and recognize their roots, traditions and cultural origins.
