Villa Troubetzkoy Blevio Like
Built around 1850 by Russian Prince Troubetzkoy, married to one of the daughters of famous Ballerina Marta Taglioni. The Prince came to the area after having served six months heavy labour in a Siberia for plotting against Czar Nicholas I. He brought down a pre-existing rural construction to start work on his own villa. As many large rocks needed removing quickly, he used mines which earned him the name “Turbascogli" or “Disturber of rocks". Private residence.
