Villa Leoni: Visit or Stay at a Modern Day Villa
Villa Leoni was built between 1938 and 1944 and was designed by the architect Pietro Lingeri. Built half way up the hill overlooking the lake, this villa links Rationalism to the local building traditions, which is particularly highlighted by the use of rough-cut stone in some of the building elements. Villa Leoni can be rented out for private accommodation as well as weddings, photography sessions and special functions.
It was built in the early 40s by the architect Pietro Lingeri, one of the greatest exponents of Larian Rationalism. The villa, classified as a historic monument by the Cultural Heritage, has returned to its former glory and to the territory which belongs ready to welcome many guests.
