Santi Cosma e Damiano Rezzago Like
Romanesque in origin, but built on the foundations of a medieval church as demonstrated by archaeological excavations. Another testimony to its antiquity is the dedication to Saints Cosmas and Damian, doctors who were martyred in the fourth century and whose cult spread immediately for their considered miraculous healings. While many of the frescos have been destroyed due to the ravages of time, one can only imagine how resplendent the details must have been in their day.
