Sanctuary of San Pancrazio Ramponio Verna Like
Located in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by quiet woods and stately lime trees, on a plateau halfway up the mountain Pìnzernone. The shrine is dedicated to a young martyr of the fourth century; who is always represented with weapons, in order to highlight his courage. San Pancrazio is highly revered by the villagers, who have made the site an important pilgrimage destination since the sixteenth century. Even today, devotion to San Pancrazio is preserved in Ramponio, when in May is celebrated a traditional festival linked to the martyr, characterized by a procession, Mass and a song in honor of the saint.
