In a familiar and warm setting, featuring traditional dishes of Como, an extensive wine list and a wide selection of homemade cakes. The restaurant is part of Como’s local history (opened in early 1813) and in its rooms have passed all the actors and guests of the nearby Teatro Sociale. In 2008 it moved from its historic location (by about 50 meters) to new premises divided into three distinct areas: Ground floor - a rustic, with vaulted stone in the style of an old tavern; First floor - a magnificent frescoed hall enriched with bas-reliefs telling the story of the building that was home of Pope Innocent XI; and Courtyard - to dine surrounded by history that oozes from the walls of the church of San Giacomo and the palace Odescalchi in cool area, away from aall the bustle.
