The mountain refuge la Canua is located at an altitude of 1.520 m, on a natural terrace that offers an unique view of Lake Como. The view reaches as far as Lecco to the south and the the northern end of Lake Como and the lower part of the Valtellina to the North. The Monte Legnone and the Valsassina are located on the other side of the lake right in front of the refuge The refuge can be reached from S. Siro loc. Montuglio walking time 1h30 or from Cremia loc. Piazzucco 1h15 with an ascent of 400 m OPEN: From half June till half September
