Menaggio e Cadenabbia Golf Club Menaggio Like
Menaggio e Cadenabbia Golf Club: Description
Menaggio is a characteristic preAlpine course with holes sloping upwards and downwards. It is important to identify the right spot at which to aim from the tee-off in order to subsequently play the green shot correctly. The greens are narrow and undulated. The course measures 5455 metres with upwards and downwards slopes being an important feature.
In 1907 a certain Mr. Wyatt, son and heir of a rich Englishman, came to the mountains of Lake Como above Grandola and Uniti as a tourist. He falls in love with the landscape and settles down there with his wife. A typical English gentleman can't survive without golf and so he had a 9-hole-course arranged, which soon became the most popular meeting place for all golf enthusiasts of the region. The golf library is also recommendable.
