About Our Activities
This is a sort of rock climb, secured all the way with a steel cable which runs along the route and is periodically fixed to the rock. The cable can also be used as aid to climbing, and additional climbing aids, such as iron rungs (stemples), pegs, carved steps and even ladders and bridges. Via ferrata can vary in length from short routes taking just half day to long demanding alpine routes covering significant distance and altitude. Everyone with an average grade of fitness can manage the easy and intermediate ones. And if you are a bit of hights, we will stay close to you all the way up. The rest is easy to learn, when professionals teach you.See More: Corni di Canzo - Mount Grona - Mount Resegone
Canyoning involves the use of abseiling, jumping and sliding to get from the top of a canyon, a river or a narrow valley to the bottom. This is definitely one of the funniest activities you could practise around the area: canyon that are ideal for canyoning are often cut into the bedrock stone, forming narrow gorges with numerous drops, beautifully sculpted walls, and sometimes spectacular waterfalls. Most canyons we have are cut into limestone, sandstone or granite. Canyons can be very easy or extremely difficult, though emphasis in the sport is usually on aesthetics and fun rather than pure difficulty. A wide variety of canyoning routes are found throughout Lake Como area, and canyoning here is enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels.See More Canyoning Porlezza-Osteno - Val Perlana Canyoning (Lenno)
Around Lake Como area we have a various hiking playground. Despite lots of hiking trails are supposed to be easy to find and difficulties-free, you could always think to hire a professional mountain guide to go a bit (or a lot…) beyond your experience level. That’s why here I would like to propose some example of peaks and hikes that we are pleased to guide you into.
Never tried rock climbing? Here is your chance! We will provide all the necessary equipment and will teach you all the basics for an enjoyable afternoon of fun by the lake, in one of the several local sport climbing venues. If you’ve only ever climbed indoors, or if you’ve always relied on others to organise your climbing adventures, this could be the course for you! We will focus on developing the essential skills for independent rock climbing at a single-pitch venue.
