A NATURAL GOLF COURSE

Here is a way of life and a place for unforgettable golf. La Pinetina Golf Club, a hundred and eighty acres of greenery deep in the heart of the Park Pineta of Appiano Gentile and Tradate, a forest of pine trees, birch trees, oaks and chestnuts, far from roads, noise and daily stress. Here, on 18 splendid holes, you can listen to nature’s breath, observe the flight of hawks and wild ducks and spot the leaps and bounds of hares.The course follows an undulated terrain with a variety of play situations while offering magical views of Mount Rosa, the Lombardy Prealps and, on the clearest of days, the Appennines. Upon arrival you will experience a friendly welcome in the comfort of the recently restored and enlarged Club House with all the guestrooms facing the course. La Pinetina Golf Club is just 30 km north of Milan, 20 km south of Como and 25 km east of Varese.

THE HOTEL, THE RESTAURANT, THE HALLS

The reception welcomes hotel, bar and restaurant clients. The dining room seats about a hundred guests and outdoor tables dot the patio in the summer. During the winter you may enjoy lunch an dinner by the fireplace. Hotel rooms afford the best comfort, with air-conditioning, minibar, satellite TV, free internet link-up… and sunny terraces overlooking the course. The hotel has meeting and conference rooms and ample parking shaded by trees. The dining room boasts a splendid view on the exacting 18th hole. The chef can recommended typical Lombard cuisine, along with dishes from Italy’s other regions, accompanied by an attentive choice of Italian wines. The hotel manager and his staff offer special golfer menus with a rich choice of reasonably priced dishes. One can also enjoy ‘haute cuisine’ or organize company and official dinners.

THE CLUB SERVICES

Apart from the 18 hole course the Club offers a practice ground with nine sheltered tee-offs, two putting greens and a pitching green; it has lately been enriched with a 6 hole certified pitch & putt course. Caddie master, dressing rooms, sauna; golf carts, hand or electric trolleys, bags and clubs to hire. The Club has a well supplied pro shop, billiard hall, cards room, TV room and Junior Club. Reputed professionals are at Members and Guests disposal with their teaching techniques, the golf school for grown-ups and youngsters, company golf clinics. The Club House has as well halls and spaces fitted to guest meeting up to a hundred persons. A wireless internet link-up is atguest’s disposal.
