One of the better known examples is MiniArtTextil—an annual international exhibition of contemporary art showing the best in Textile Art, an art sector with a revolutionary approach to the textile heritage and its materials. The Cultural Association Arte&Arte was founded in Como by Nazzarena Bortolaso and Mimmo Totaro in 1994. The non-profit-making organization, aims to promote culture and art, as well as to preserve and exploit artistic and historical elements considered as foundations of the civil progress and utility and also as social service for a complete education of the person.
ACTIVITIES
Basically utilised as organizational structure of the Contemporary Textile Art Exhibition MINIARTEXTIL, that has been annually realised since 1991, Arte&Arte during all the years, has organized several cultural events as contemporary art exhibitions, conferences, concerts and living-performances.
